Child Protection and Survival in Commercial Farms(chips-cf) management team boasts of experienced people that have held a variety of roles,including project manager,business analysts,small business owner,office manager,personal assistant,lawyer,doctors,military peacekeeper,welfare officer,logistician and pubic relations/media offier.

They have over 30 year experience working in private and public organizations,including such fields as marketing and sales,real estate,telecommunication,diplomacy,media and agriculture.

Chips-cf is a registered Tanzania non;profit organization formed by James Lushi and other children lovers.They knows first-hand of the tragic lives of the children in commercial farms in Tanzania. 

Many children in commercial farms in Tanzania are experiencing the trauma of being left alone to fend for themselves.Chpis-cf's wish is to grant a child's wish-a wish to survive,to have hope,to be loved and valued, to have a place to call home,a wish to look forward to tommorow.

Chips-cf was conceived to connect thousands of people to help children at risk,especially aiding ground-level organizations that are doing the day-to-day work of running orphanages and schools,rescuing children from slavery,child labour,and feeding the poor. Whereas caring people often desire t help at risk and needy children but have no idea how to go about it,Chips-cf provides the vehicle and the compassionate direction.We teach and provide simple but powerful tools to gather those within sphres of influence to save and change lives.

Many children in commercial farms are now HIV positive or have AIDS,and some have so badly beaten and raped,that they have been mentally and physically scared for life.Consequently some of the young girls have been left with babies(even though they are still children themselves)and they have no means of supporting themselves or the babies.

A number of children have been fortunate enough to find family members or orphanages with whom or where they can live.But 85% of these OVC are homeless.Thousands live alone,lack parental guidance,experience financial hardship,and are grossly undernourished.Many have been orpharned because thei parents have died from AIDS and children left by migrant labourers/worker

These children are denied love and affection,they do not have access to education and health care,they survive by their wits,often through theft,violence or prostitution,chid labour,they join gangs for safety and to approach a family structure.These  children face a short and uncertain future.

It is against this backdrop that Chips-cf,with the assistance of friends and family supports a small group of 313 orphaned children and 87 other children impoverished families.With the financial means we could help more-many,many more.In partnership with other credible non-profit organizations,we fight to save dying children by sponsoring orphans,developing micro-enterprises,promoting advocacy,organizing and encouraging effectual players,arranging trips for people to see first-hand the desparate situation of these children.ENVAYA is a very good example.       

AIM

CHIPS-CF is the NGO based on integrity and honesty values.The aim of the organization is motivated by a deep compassion to raise funds,which are used to aid those living in most desparate situations,focusing especially on the orphans and vulnerable children in commercial farms in Tanzania.The organization seeks to accomplish our aim by:

Raising funds to promote the work of CHIPS-CF;

Publishing/producing information by means of sound and/or visual aids.

GOAL

The goal of the organization is to provide homes,medical care and education to children who have been orphaned or are without families.CHIPS-CF will meet this goal by supporting the childrens villages around commercial farms,to help children find a home-a home where they can safely and regularly eat,sleep,learn and be cared for.

We will work to improve the lives of caregivers and volunteer caretakers by providind funds for vocational training and the teaching of basic business skills.We will attack poverty and unemployment by starting small-scale enterprises.These micro-business opportunities owned primarily by women,will help to seed a network of strategic partner throughout the country.
