Nuru Halisi ilianza kama kikundi ambacho kilikua kikitoa elimu kwa jamii mwaka 2008 katika Manispaa ya Dodoma. Baada ya kuona jamii inapokea elimu wanayopewa na kukubali kazi yetu, tuliona ni vyema kupata usajili ili tutambulike zaidi na kuweza kuifikia jamii nchi nzima na tulianza kufuata taratibu za usajili na hatimaye January 2009 tukapata usajili rasmi. Tulianza kazi kwa kujitangaza na kutanuka kwa kadri tulivyoweza na hadi sasa tumeishaifikia mikoa minne Tanzania Bara, Dar es salaam, Dodoma,Morogoro na Manyara. Tumeweza kupata mradi wa utunzaji wa mazingira na ukusanyaji wa taka ngumu katika mtaa wa Markazi kata ya Ukonga na vilevile tumeweza kuanzisha kikundi cha maendeleo cha Nuru Halisi(NURU DEVELOPMENT GROUP). Wana kikundi walihamasishwa na kufundishwa namna ya kujikwamua katika dimbwi la umaskini kwa kutumia rasilimali walizo nazo na kinatarajia kuanza miradi yake mwezi July mwaka huu.

Tumeweza kuongeza idadi ya wanachama na sasa tuna wanachama wengi. Nuru Halisi imefanikiwa kupata tuzo ya kwanza ya Mazingira ya mwaka 2009-2010. Tuzo iliyotolewa na Mkuu wa mkoa wa Dar es Salaam Mh William Lukuvi.

Light music started as a group that kilikua kikitoa education community in 2008 in Dodoma Municipality. After seeing the community receives the education they are given and accept our work, we thought it best to get registered so that we can gradually reduce mbulike more communities across the country and we began to follow the procedures for registration and January 2009 we finally received official registration. We began to work for promotion and kutanuka as we can and until now we ishaifikia four regions in Tanzania Mainland, Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Morogoro and Manyara. We have been able to get the project of environmental protection and waste collection in the local complex of Markazi also cut the trunk, we can establish a development team of the Light Music (Light Development GROUP). Children were encouraged and taught the group how to get rid of the pool of poverty by using the resources you have and its new projects expected to start July this year.

We have been able to increase the number of members and now we have many members. Light music has succeeded in getting the first award of the Environment in 2009-2010. Awards given by the governor of Dar es Salaam Hon William Lukuvi.
