UCHUNGUZI ZAIDI WA MAENEO YALIYOATHIRIKA NA MAFURIKO UNAHITAJIKA.

Baada ya mafuriko yaliyotokea tarehe 20/12/2011 kuacha familia zaidi ya 1800 zikiwa hazina makazi,upotevu wa mali na vifo vya watu zaidi ya 41,imebainika kuwa kuna haja ya kufanya uchunguzi akinifu ili kubaini madhara zaidi yaliyopatikana kutokana na ukweli kuwa kuna watu na nyumba zaidi ziliharibika lakini hazikubainika.

Uchunguzi uliofanywa na jeanmedia umebaini kuwa maeneo mengi yaliathirika na mafuriko hayo hayakuweza kubainishwa katika zoezi la kubaini maeneo yaliyoathirika,hali ambayo imepelekea malalamiko kwa viongozi wa ngazi za chini hususani wenyeviti wa mitaa,watendaji na madiwani,kwa kutokufuatilia nyumba zilizo pata madhara kutokana na mafuriko hayo.

Wakazi hao kutoka maeneo mbalimbali ya jiji la Dar es salaam wamesema kuwa nyumba zao pamoja na mali zao zilisombwa na maji lakini cha ajabu huduma ikatolewa kwa baadhi ya wananchi.Wameeleza kuwa mpaka sasa hakuna kiongozi yeyote wa serikali aliyejaribu kwenda kuwapa hata pole ya maneno hali ambayo inaonesha kutokujaliwa wanapopata matatizo,isipokuwa wakati wa uchaguzi tu ndio wanaonekana wana wajali.

Wananchi hao wa maeneo ya kimara kilungule,ubungo rombo,gide, kibangu na msewe wamezidi kueleza kuwa karibu maeneo yote yaliyopitiwa na mifereji ya maji yalipata madhara ya kubomokewa kwa nyumba na kupotea kwa vyombo vya ndani.Kutokana na hali hiyo,wameiomba serikali kufanya tathimini upya ili kubaini maeneo ambayo yamepata madhara ili kupunguza usumbufu unaoweza kujitokeza siku za mbeleni.

Ni vema tukaamini kuwa lisemwalo lipo na kama halipo basi laja,hivyo basi kabla madhara zaidi hayajatokea inabidi hatua za makusudi zichukuliwe kuhakikisha kuwa makazi ya watu na mali zao zinakuwa salama.Elimu ya utunzaji wa mazingira inabidi ipewe kipaumbele,hususani katika maeneo ambayo yanakaliwa na wakazi waliokaribu na mifereji ya kupitisha maji ili kuepuka utupaji wa taka ovyo katika mifereji hiyo hali ambayo hupelekea izibe na kuleta harufu mbaya na mlipuko wa magonjwa kama kipindupindu,kuhara na ugonjwa wa matumbo.Tuendelee kupeana hekima za kiafrika kwa kusema  tunza mazingira ili yakutunze.
