Amewataja waliokamatwa kuwa ni pamoja na mwenye nyumba yaliyokutwa madawa hayo, aitwae Pendo Mohamedi Cheusi (67) mkazi na mkulima wa kijiji hicho na Hemedi Said (27) dereva na mkazi wa mtoni,jijini Dar
es salaam,ambaye pia ni mtoto wa mwenye nyumba yaliyokutwa madawa hayo. Wengine ni Isumaili Adamu kwa jina lingine Athuman Mohamedi Nyaubi (28) mfanyabiashara wa magari nchini Afrika ya kusini na mkazi wa Moroko jijini Dar es salaam na Morine Amatus (22) mkazi wa Mikocheni ‘B’ pia jijini Dar es salaam. Mwakajinga amesema madawa hayo yamekamatwa ndani ya nyumba ya Pendo Cheusi,yakiwa yamehifadhiwa ndani ya madumu yapatayo manane yaliyokuwa na ujazo wa lita 60 kila moja,tayari kusafirishwa kupelekwa nje ya nchi. Amesema mafanikio ya kukamatwa kwa madawa hayo,yamechangiwa na raia wema kutoa taarifa za siri ndani ya Jeshi hilo ,kisha kufanikisha kuyakamata. “Sisi Polisi kwa kushirikiana na kikosi kazi kilichokuwa kinaongozwa na mkuu wa upelelezi mkoa wa Lindi,ASP,Faustine P.Hokororo,walipofuatilia hatimaye jana tumefanikiwa kuyashika madawa hayo wakiwemo na wahusika” Alisema Mwakajinga. Mwakajinga amesema tayari madawa hayo, yamesafirishwa kupelekwa jijini Dar es salaam , kwa mkemia mkuu kwa ajili ya kuyapima, sanjari na kuyatunza wakati kesi ya watuhumiwa hao itakapokuwa ikiendelea
mahakamani. Kaimu kamanda huyo amesema watuhumiwa wawili kati ya wanne walioshikwa wamefiishwa mahakamani leo ambapo upelelezi zaidi ya madawa hayo ukiendelea.
