On 19th August -21st we had a guest from a University in UK by the name of Yusuke Ishihara who came to inquire about a probability of establishing a Cultural Tourism Program in Kyela.We visited Ikolo,Ngonga ang Matema wards to see the probability of the program.The constraints we found are:

1.The economic situation of the villagers is so low for them to think of tourism.Their priorities at the moment are sustainability,sending children to school,medical care to mention a few.

2.The infrastructures to acces tourists to Kyela are still not friendly.Travelling by bus from Dar is so long,at least there are scheduled flights to Mbeya and then drive to Kyela.
