JUWASSU is Non-governmental organization found in 2012. It is involving different members who either live or lived in Uzini or desire to bring the development in Uzini.

THE GRADUATE STUDENT ORGANIZARION OF UZINI SECONDARY SCHOOLS” believed that unity and solidarity is the key point to establish a strong foundation and relationship within community of UZINI AREA, Therefore the organization established for the purpose of proving better education for the children and community of our area regardless of their social status, ethic, beliefs and gender and other community development projects.

Also it aim at addressing the problem of social status, ethnic, beliefs and loss of local potential to overseas markets.

The above problems  mentioned can be overcome by providing excellence in education in Uzini. And we further believe that after providing education, care must be taken to ensure new professionals are able to establish development entity in UZINI – ZANZIBAR.

The approach to be used is participatory approach; where by ourselves will be part of the community in solving the mentioned problems. This is unique approach which is not practiced by any local organization here in Zanzibar.
