BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE ORGANIZATION

AIDS Control & Community Development Organization (ACCODEO) is a registered NGO that is non-profit making, non-religious and humanitarian civil society organization with its headquarters in Musoma Municipality. It was established in the year 1998 and registered in October 2001 bearing a Certificate of Registration No.11150. It later obtained a Certificate of Compliance No. 1796 of 30/5/2007 in accordance with the new established Non Governmental Organizations’ Act sect.11(3) of Act No.24 of 2002. ACCODEO has staffs that are committed to working on voluntary basis. ACCODEO is working in most of the time in collaboration with other NGOs and development partners including Government authorities. Our staffs have participated in various trainings, workshops and seminars conducted by the Government and International Organizations regarding different issues such as Poverty Reduction Strategies in Tanzania, Poverty and Environment, HIV/AIDS, Citizen’s Global Platform, Initiatives for the Establishment of Children’s Act in Tanzania e.tc.
