1.EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT TO VULNERABLE GROUPS

(i) AACD supports orphaned students by providing them with school fees,uniforms,school bags,pens and exercise books.

Archievement:

Up to July 2011 AACD has provided support as follows:

(a) At Mwandiga secondary schools we are supporting 28 students

(b) At Kagongo secondary school we are supporting 2 students

(c) At Mwananchi secondary school we are supporting 5 students

(d) At Mungonya secondary school we are supporting 5 students

(e) At Kalinzi secondary school we are supporting 6 students.

(f) At Nyarubanda secondary school we are supporting 1 student.

(ii) Adult education

Archievement:

We are providing tuition and alphabetization course to women with low education and economic income.

(iii) Community Library

Archievement:

We have established a community Library at Mwandiga ward which currently have 180 books which we were supported by Promotion of Education Link Organisation [PELO](www.envaya.org/pelo). We have started to approach various stakeholders for support of commputers so that we establish internet service within this Library which is expected to be a resource centre for Mwandiga ward.

2.RELIEF SUPPORT TO HIV/AIDS VICTIMS

Archievements:

(i) We are assisting 20 adults people living with HIV and 11 orphans by providing them with basic needs such as soaps and food items like maize,cooking oil etc.

(ii) We are running one HIV/AIDS counselling center
