On 04th of October Zanzibar Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ZSPCA) organised 4th Zanzibar World Animal Day Celebration which sponsored by Canine Global of USA and Zanzibar Wakf and Trust Commission. The ay was celebrated by providing free rabies vaccination, Police dog show
and delivering animal welfare education through posters and guides distributed to local communities attend the clinic and Police dog show.
Some ZSPCA Executive Committee member meet with Professor Linda Herkenhoff from Calfornina to discuss of establishment partnership between these parties. The meeting was very interesting and will give ZSPCA chance to have funding source from USA. ZSPCA team.
One of the Forest fire which occur on 17th of February, 2012 in Dunga Forest, some member of ZSPCA participate in fire fighting and help to reduce the destruction of forest, natural resources and amount of Carbondioxide entering atmosphere.
