The MALARIA MICRO PROGRAM has been adopted for the first time using the Manuel of active teaching Skills in Malaria Education by established in 2004 by WHO and later with RWANDA YOUTH SOLUTION ORGANIZATION(RYSO ) (www.envaya.org/rwanda-youthsolution /rwandayouthsolution.wordpress.org) through the Primary schools students empowerment towards the eradication of Malaria in families as the children are the most vulnerable for Malaria. According to the 2007 Annual Report of the Ministry of Health, both morbidity and mortality due to malaria are on a sharp decline. Compared to the first ten chief complaints in health facilities, its proportional morbidity fell from 37.9% in 2005 to 28.4% in 2006 and to 15% in 2007. Children under 5 years are the most affected, with a proportional morbidity of 31.5%.
