Is established in June 2008 with the Vision of Making Kilimanjaro a green village through tourism.
Welcome to Cultural and Natural Heritage of the Chagga on the green slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Machame Nkweshoo Cultural Tourism offers you:
- A guided visit to Nkosalulu water falls and Coffee farms,
- A visit to the first Church building constructed in 1840s and
- A visit to the caves used as hides during tribal wars,
- A view of the old coins used during colonial era,
- To learn Chagga relics, stories and old tools
- A visit to the local market
- Kilimanjaro trekking
- A visit to the natural forest of Kilimanjaro
Machame Nkweshoo Cultural Tourism also engages in tree planting, water sources preservation, education to children, youth and public at large through teamwork, commitment, cooperation, involvement to promote cultural tourism in Machame
