Enhance Mass Development (EMD) is a non governmental, neither profit making nor profit sharing organization, that geared towards alleviating poverty of the marginalized and low income households through promoting socio-economic development program which involves self community organized groups.

Programs are composed of the following activities,Establishment of VICOBA groups. Soliciting fund for seed capital and matching loan, Skills training, Entrepreneurship and Management of small business.(say something about health,HIV/AIDS Education ect)

EMD is fighting  against poverty by enabling people to establish groups, mobilize resources and make personal and group loan to low-income entrepreneurs in Temeke, where in doing so contribute to vital influx of capital to low income households where most of the poor are self-employed entrepreneurs in informal sector, hence help them to improve their lives and livelihoods.
