A registered non-governmental organization that is committed to improve the quality of people with visual impairment in Tanzania through lobbying and advocacy; awareness raising; information sharing; facilitating accesss to education and vocational training; and economic empowerment.

In pursuing this mission TLB will network with other like minded organization and take cognizance of the cross cutting issues of gender, HIV/AIDS, environment and good governance.
