Background information of the organization.

Help Children Organization is a local NGO legally registered under the Non Governmental Organization Act, 2002. The organization is independent and has its board of management and accounts.

Since its inception in 2008, Help Children Organization  has secured both internal and external funding exceeding 56,000 USD and continues to work with a number of national agencies and Morogoro Municipal Council, developing a variety of sustainable community based programmes to support vulnerable children and their care givers e.g older people . Just to mention a few these projects include Rights and entitlements, Health & Education (Fee and material support) to OVC, Sponsor a Grandparent project, Advocacy and empowerment ,Relief services, houses repair and construction for poor older people taking care of orphans and vulnerable children (eg Outreach Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT) ,Outreach counselling and home visits ,In School Guidance and Counseling ,Nutritional Supplements, Basic Medication ,Shelter, School Uniforms and clothe, School Bursaries).The aim is to promote the rights of children in Morogoro Region; ensure them to access policy entitlements to improve their well being;to support the millennium goals and the achievement of MKUKUTA targets to improve the delivery of pro-poor services.

Relationship between Help Children Organization and State Authorities.

We have developed a mutual relationship with the state authorities of Morogoro region by involving together in different plans of social events as follows:-

• Participation of Help Children Organization in 1^st December 2008- 2010 Region Preparation Committee. The event hosted by the Morogoro Region in collaboration with TACAIDS.
• Two staff from Help Children Organization  (Executive Director and Programme Manager) were also invited by Morogoro region authority to participate in the Regional committee for the preparation of HIV/AIDS international day which was held on ^1st December, 2010 at Jamuhuri Stadium. Morogoro region also hosted this year National Event for HIV/AIDS.

Links development with other actors.

• The project has developed links with Morogoro six district councils to include children`s issues in budget and plans which resulted to all 6 districts of Morogoro region to allocate more than Tshs. 398,000,000/= to support HIV/AIDS orphaned grand children who have not get our support. Also Morogoro Municipal Council through  Global fund allocated 38,000,000/= in its financial year of 2011/2012  to support 4,864 OVC/MVCs for CHF, school fees, shelter, meals, and traveling allowances.
• Links with religious bodies to influence their worshippers to give in kind support by establishing safety nets for vulnerable groups. Eg Christian churches and Muslims of all 6 districts of Morogoro Municipality.

Help Children Organization (HCO) together with TASAF(Tanzania Social Action Fund) have supported our work by developing a net work support to a big number of our beneficiaries where the project fails to provide its supports.

Taarifa ya shirika.

Kusaidia watoto Trust ni NGO nchini kisheria iliyosajiliwa chini ya isiyo ya Kiserikali ya 2002. Shirika ni huru na ina bodi yake ya usimamizi na akaunti.

Tangu kuanzishwa kwake mwaka 2008, Msaada Watoto Trust ina kupata ufadhili wote wa ndani na nje ya dola 56,000 sana na inaendelea kufanya kazi na idadi ya mashirika ya kitaifa na Halmashauri ya Manispaa ya Morogoro, kuendeleza mipango mbalimbali ya kijamii endelevu ya kuwasaidia watoto walio katika mazingira magumu na wanaotoa huduma zao mfano watu wakubwa. Tu kutaja wachache ni pamoja na Haki za miradi na stahili, Afya na Elimu (Ada na msaada wa vifaa) kwa OVC, mdhamini wa mradi babu / bibi, Utetezi na uwezeshaji, huduma Relief, kukarabati nyumba na ujenzi kwa ajili ya maskini wazee kutumia huduma ya watoto yatima na walio katika mazingira magumu watoto (mfano Outreach Ushauri na Upimaji wa hiari (VCT), Outreach ushauri na kutembelea nyumbani, Katika Shule ya uwongofu, na Ushauri, Nutritional virutubisho, Basic dawa, Makazi, sare za shule na nguo, Shule ya masomo) Lengo ni kukuza haki za watoto. katika Mkoa wa Morogoro, kuhakikisha yao ya kupata haki za sera ya kuboresha ustawi wao, na kuunga mkono malengo ya milenia na mafanikio ya MKUKUTA malengo ya kuboresha utoaji wa huduma ya maskini.

Uhusiano kati ya Msaada Watoto Trust na Jimbo Mamlaka.

Sisi na maendeleo ya uhusiano wa pande mbili pamoja na mamlaka ya serikali ya mkoa wa Morogoro kwa kuwashirikisha kwa pamoja katika mipango mbalimbali ya matukio ya kijamii kama ifuatavyo: -

• Ushiriki wa Msaada Trust Watoto katika ^st December 1 2008 - 2010 Mkoa wa Kamati ya Maandalizi. Tukio hilo mwenyeji wa Mkoa wa Morogoro kwa kushirikiana na TACAIDS.
• wafanyakazi wawili kutoka Msaada Watoto Trust (Mkurugenzi Mtendaji na Meneja Prrogramme) pia walioalikwa na mamlaka ya mkoa wa Morogoro kushiriki katika kamati ya Mkoa kwa ajili ya maandalizi ya siku ya UKIMWI kimataifa / ambao ulifanyika tarehe ¹ Desemba 2010 katika Uwanja wa Jamuhuri. Mkoa wa Morogoro pia mwenyeji mwaka huu Taifa Tukio ya VVU / UKIMWI.

Viungo maendeleo pamoja na watendaji wengine.

• Mradi ina maendeleo ya viungo na Morogoro halmashauri za wilaya sita ni pamoja na watoto `s masuala ya bajeti na mipango ambayo ilisababisha kwa wilaya zote za mkoa wa Morogoro 6 kutenga zaidi ya Sh. 398,000,000 / = kwa msaada wa ukimwi watoto yatima grand ambao kupata msaada wetu. Halmashauri ya Manispaa ya Morogoro pia kupitia mfuko Global zilizotengwa 38,000,000 / = katika mwaka wa fedha wa 2011/2012 kwa msaada 4,864 OVC / MVCs kwa CHF, ada za shule, malazi, chakula, na kusafiri posho.
• Viungo vya miili ya dini na ushawishi waja yao ya kutoa msaada wa aina katika kwa kuanzisha mifumo ya usalama kwa ajili ya makundi ya wanyonge. Mfano Makanisa ya Kikristo na Waislamu wa wilaya zote 6 ya Manispaa ya Morogoro.

Kusaidia Watoto Trust (HCT) pamoja na TASAF (Tanzania Social Action Fund) na mkono kazi yetu na kuendeleza wavu kazi msaada kwa idadi kubwa ya walengwa wetu ambapo mradi inashindwa kutoa mkono wake.
