Goal:
The goal of the organization is to represent and promote the Information and
Communications Technology (ICT) professional and ICT professionalism, as well as to
elevate ICT capability in Tanzania.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION
The organization has the following specific objectives:
1. To encourage and promote the deployment and utilization of ICTs within the
society and economy to: improve organizational efficiency and performance, as
well as support and facilitate the development of Tanzania’s human resources.
2. To promote and support national efforts and initiatives aimed at accelerating the
development of the local ICT production and service sector of the economy into a
globally competitive sector.
3. To facilitate the exchange of opinions and views on Information and
Communications Technology and to inform and promote knowledge of ICT to
members and the public for the development and use of ICT.
4. To establish a public awareness of the potential impact of information systems
and to protect the public and individuals against the misuse of information
systems.
5. By representing industry practitioners, to inform and lobby Government on ICT
policy.
6. To promote the use of ICT in education, health, agriculture, business,
environmental and tourism sectors.
7. To conduct and facilitate researches on ICT and publish results for the benefits of
the whole society.
8. To subscribe, affiliate or become a member of other bodies (nationally or
internationally) with similar objectives, in the interests of the Association.
9. Promote/Assist any other related activities that are in the interests of the
Association.
10. To maintain and promote the observance of a code of professional conduct for
members of the Association.

lengo la shirika ni kuwakilisha na kukuza ya Habari na
Teknolojia ya Mawasiliano (ICT) na mtaalamu wa ICT taaluma, ikiwa ni pamoja na
kuinua uwezo wa ICT katika Tanzania.

MALENGO YA ORGANIZATION
shirika zifuatazo malengo maalum:
1. Kuhamasisha na kukuza kupelekwa na matumizi ya ICT katika
jamii na uchumi na: kuongeza ufanisi wa shirika na utendaji, kama
pamoja na kuunga mkono na kuwezesha maendeleo ya rasilimali za Tanzania za binadamu.
2. Kukuza na kusaidia juhudi za kitaifa na mipango yenye lengo la kuongeza kasi ya
maendeleo ya sekta ya ICT za uzalishaji na huduma za uchumi katika
sekta ya ushindani wa kimataifa.
3. Kuwezesha ubadilishanaji wa mawazo na maoni juu ya Habari na
Teknolojia ya Mawasiliano na kutoa taarifa na kukuza ujuzi wa ICT na
wanachama na umma kwa ajili ya maendeleo na matumizi ya ICT.
4. Kuanzisha utambuzi wa umma wa matokeo ya uwezo wa mifumo ya habari
na kulinda umma na watu binafsi dhidi ya matumizi mabaya ya habari
system.
5. By anayewakilisha sekta ya watendaji, kwa taarifa na kushawishi serikali juu ya ICT
sera.
6. Kukuza matumizi ya ICT katika elimu, afya, kilimo, biashara,
mazingira na sekta ya utalii.
7. Kuendesha na kuwezesha utafiti juu ya ICT na kuchapisha matokeo kwa faida ya
jamii nzima.
8. Kujiunga, affiliate au kuwa mwanachama wa miili ya nyingine (ya kitaifa au
kimataifa) na malengo sawa, kwa maslahi ya Chama.
9. Kukuza / Kusaidia shughuli nyingine yoyote kuhusiana kwamba ni kwa maslahi ya
Association.
10. Kudumisha na kuendeleza utunzaji wa kanuni za maadili ya kitaalamu kwa
wanachama wa Chama.
