The Organization for Rural Self-Help Initiatives (ORSHI) is a local Non-Governmental,
a not-for-profit organization that seeking to promote a self-development process that
removes the causes of underdevelopment and poverty, through education, support, service provision, and participation in Tanzania.

ORSHI works directly with communities in remote rural areas of Tanzania to find sustainable solutions to overcome poverty and injustices. Many of these rural communities are very isolated without reliable roads, electricity, clean and safe water, schools, or clinics/dispensaries.
