Youth control society is the product of the following questions:

• How many youth have lost their lives everyday out of HIV / AIDS?
• How many youth have already become addicted to drugs and alcohol?
• How many youth have despaired to live because they have been down trodden and marginalized so much?

As a result of all above three questions different, twenty youth with gender balance united together on 19^th September 2008 with the idea of YOCOSO. Believing that youth are energetic, the organization and the direction of their energy might bear fruits in the society and national as whole.

Having this idea in mind, YOCOSO recognized that youth as very important resource in the country. Exploiting resources does not itself guarantee development unless people are aware of their duties and empowered to play their role in poverty alleviation.

Vijana kudhibiti jamii ni bidhaa ya maswali yafuatayo:

• Wangapi vijana wamepoteza maisha yao ya kila siku nje ya VVU / UKIMWI?
• Wangapi vijana tayari kuwa addicted na madawa ya kulevya na pombe?
• Jinsi wengi vijana wenye kukata tamaa ya kuishi kwa sababu wamekuwa chini kukanyagwa na pembezoni sana?

Kama matokeo ya maswali yote juu tatu tofauti, ishirini vijana na usawa wa jinsia umoja pamoja ^tarehe 19 Septemba 2008 na wazo la YOCOSO. Kuamini kwamba vijana ni juhudi, shirika na mwelekeo wa nguvu zao kuzaa matunda katika jamii na taifa kwa ujumla.

Baada ya wazo hili katika akili, YOCOSO kutambuliwa kwamba vijana kama rasilimali muhimu sana katika nchi. Kutumia rasilimali haina yenyewe kuhakikisha maendeleo isipokuwa watu wanatambua wajibu wao na uwezo wa kutekeleza majukumu yao katika kupunguza umaskini.
