Vision of Association

10. To improve the welfare of theZanzibar’s in the aspect of economical, Socio –cultural, and political to the extent that we have the well advanced educated communities, in implementation of Poverty alleviation.

 Mission

11. To have a well organized community in term of overcoming the Socio- economic problem through the use of possible resource available in community.

 Major Objective

12. To improve welfare and proper living standard of the vulnerable group inZanzibarat large through proper utilization of available resources.

 Specific Objectives

13. The Association exists and identifies to implement various specific objectives for which organization is formed are:-

a) To bring awareness and consciousness to community in poverty alleviation

b) Poverty reduction among rural population inZanzibar

c) Strengthening women’s economic security and rights and empowering them and eliminating all forms of the violence against women and children to enjoy secure livelihood.

d) To promote security, peace and democracy inTanzania.

e) To fight against HIV and AIDS and promoting public health care.

f) Promoting education in general and provide directory resources.

g) Promoting and care of special groups like orphans, elders, disables etc.

h) To bring communication awareness on the care and protection of the old aged people in view of basic human and legal rights.

i) To organize the groups to join up with other associations within community and outside in order to have more power in tackling the problems associated.

j) To motivate community to combat environmental degradation to have well environmental atmosphere.

k) To organize community in finding marketability in entrepreneurship capacity building.

l) To conduct studies pertaining, socio cultural, economical of the issues of education, business, availability of safe water, health, poor market, together with income and employment’s opportunity.

m) To find the donors direct or indirect so as to support the effort of the groups members, orphan, disability and others vulnerable groups who effected with disaster.

n) To conduct visit study, and participate in the festival in community and outside or from the income generating groups.

o) To conduct research to ensure the problems, monitoring and evaluation of project rise from community.

p) Enhance the vocational training motivation so as to widen employment inZanzibar

q) To mobilize the community against drug abuse such as cigarette smoking, marijuana, etc.

r) To motivate the community to combat child labor to improve the standard of livelihood.

s) To strengthening the youth group skillful knowledge of life skills to improve the literate rate.
