Ahadiway Life Development Initiative is focusing on the following regions.

Mara region (Musoma rural), Simiu, Shinyanga, Morogoro, Dar es salaam, Dodoma and
Costal region

However, AHLIDEI retains the flexibility to extend its areas of interaction with poor communities in any other districts in Tanzania AHLIDEI on where need arises.

Alliance for social elevation has so far made the following major achievements.
Acquisition of an office from where we operate at at Singida municipal Arusha road Mwenge area plot no 495.
The establishment of over 452 small groups with a total membership of an estimated number of 12,540 persons.
AHLIDEI has obtained an identification certificate from the National Economic
Empowerment Council (NEEC).

Networking with various civil society organizations such as Policy Forum, United Nation Association Tanzania (UNATZ), WiLDAF, Evirocare, WOWAP of Dodoma, TWC-Ulingo of Dar es Salaam, VICOBA FETA, TIMAP, PICS BAGS as well as financial institutions such as TPB and AKIBA commercial bank.

The establishment of a cohesive relationship with the government and its offices such as the prime minister’s office i.e. MIVARAF, the embassy of citizen economic investment, other groups such as GEPF, NHIF, UTT/AMIS, MKURUBITA are inclusive.

Today, AHLIDEI is one of the local NGO proving capacity building services in Kinondoni Municipality, Dar es salaam and Tanzania at large Cumulatively, AHLIDEI has registered 452 youth and Women Groups.

Governing Body

Governing body of AHLIDEI consists of 7 active and highly experienced people with rural development skills. Governing body members have over 10 years’ experience in the rural field with national and international exposure. This body is here in order to:-

(a). Setting the policy for the organization. This is done by:

Creating or updating the mission and vision statements
Determining the organization’s programs and services.
Approving the strategic plan.

(b). Monitoring the organization’s operations:

Hiring and periodically evaluating the organization’s Program Director.

Working with and providing support to the executive.
Approving the annual budget, annual report, etc.
Approving major contracts and grants.
Soliciting and reviewing program evaluations.

(c). Serving as a public figure for the organization

Fundraising, by directly donating to the non-profit and soliciting donations from others.
Advocating for the organization. (d). Fulfilling other board responsibilities
Documenting policies and decisions to create an organizational memory.
Preparing for and attending board meetings.
Researching and discussing issues before decisions are made.
Replacing and orienting board members when a vacancy arises.
