On July 15, 2010 three members of the TNJ+ - Zephania Musendo, Mariam J. Amir and Nuru Mbamba, participated in a dialogue on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Act 2008, whereby participants from various NGOs related to the management of HIV/AIDS in Dar es Salaam faulted many aspects of the Act saying this was because the people living with HIV were not adequately involved in the preparation of the Act. They resolved that the Act should be retracted and sent back to the people who are affected for discussion and amendment.
