Currently, PLCC is helping 150 OVC children from villages of Mzumbe, Vikenge, Mikongeni, Melela and Mgeta and other nearby villages.

Since many children are orphans and others don’t go to school, various people and institutions have taken advantage of this situation by employing these children to their farms, homes and other shoddy activities like collecting bottles, aluminum scraps, polyethylene papers, and plastic scraps.

Our campaign is to rescue these children from such harsh conditions which they are facing.

The activities done are giving these children essential academic and basic human necessities such as books, uniforms, school shoes etc, and basic necessities like clothes, food, medical care and counseling.

Most of these necessities are donated by the student’s community of Mzumbe University who collect and hand them over to us for supply.

We also get support from Fr. Mzuanda's friends from outside of Tanzania
