SMGT draws inspiration of Youth and Communities from the authentic, anthropology and experience of people in difficulty, striving towards a culture of solidarity within the Tanzanian community to ensure that:

-   Dignity and the fundamental rights of each person are safeguarded and respect.

-   The common good prevail over individual interest.

-   Disadvantaged persons are empowered to develop their resources and helped to restore their sense of co-responsibility in building a better society that excludes none.
