The Resources Mobilization for Community Organization (REMCOD) was established on 2013, It was started as Community Based Organization (CBO) known as Sustainable Development Initiative Organization (SDI-Tanzania), Operating in Morogoro Municipality, Involving in:

• Provisional of Technical and Material supports to the community for various needs from the community, For instance Involving in Provisional  of Community Food and Nutrition Education, Providing Psychological support to the Orphans, Disables, People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHIV) and Vulnerable and Most Vulnerable children and 
• Became officially newly  registered as NGO Operating in Tanzania mainland on October,2015 

It was registered by the Ministry of Gender, Women and Children Development  in Tanzania with the Registration Number OONGO/08238.

Due to the different challenges facing community in Tanzania, the founders thought the idea of establishing REMCOD with the aim of joining the Government and other stakeholders efforts   in supporting Community in to the different aspects. REMCOD started with four (4) Staffs but to date REMCOD have Eight (8) Staffs  permanent and temporally employed) but also volunteers.
