Organization PROFILE  

INTRODUCTION:

TALIA is a Non Governmental Organization established in Tanzania in 2006. This organization is in Collaboration with Community Based Organization, Faith Based Organization, Non Governmental Organization, Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and Community Level Committed to effective coordination that maximizes impact of collective resource and advocated to address the challenges of Poverty in Tanzania.

 

Currently made up 18 members. Since it  was established in February 2006 and officially registered on 24^th August 2008 Under Section 12 (12) NGOs Act No 24 of 2002 as a trust with registration number.SA16018.. It is now led by a board of Director with 7. Members of steering Committee which supports TALIA on Technical aspects.

 

TALIA   was formed in order to assist country campaign on POVERTY   aviation, through improving life standards to Tanzanian citizen living in poor standard of life in Mtwara,Iringa and Mbeya regions

 

SOURCE OF FUND

TALIA receives its fund from difference donor such as TACAIDS through RFA, GIZ, Organization member fees, Tanzania Development Trust.

VISION

TALIA Vision is to see that up to 2025, disabled groups are reduced and having socio development to their Family .

MISSION

TALIA Mission is to coordinate resources and advocate through sustainable program, information and knowledge sharing, partnership, building and lobbying for environment  in our communities.

ACTIVITIES LOCATION

TALIA are working Mtwara,Mbeya Iringa Regions all Districts of this regions.

 

The objectives of the Association shall be as follows.

•     To identify children living in hard life situation by funding them and make them be known by the public, to support most vulnerable children (mvc)

•      To pursue the children who are not schooling to go to school by giving  them moral and material   supports
•     Establishing and developing anti- poverty campaign for parents through education on economic projects

• Strengthening the knowledge  base on costal resourcesDevelopment of technical and managerial skills For enviromental issues.
•      Establishing a special centre for caring orphans and street children, who are in fact homeless.
•     To revive and promote indigenous underutilized foods and vegetables for food security, at household level to raise Nutrition status and income generation for sustainable develop.
•      To enable society be more with Gender Issue and HIV/AIDS for the aim of improving social relationship.

• Raising awareness of stakeholders of the key issues related to sustainable resource use

Develop Community based society self Employment and Appropriate technology free from diseases.

Environmental conservation and protection is very important in any society. Lack of knowledge on Environment  protection, results into poverty to the  local community. Therefore when we do the action we are actually fighting against extreme poverty among our community.

Some pits were dug near the street, road thus causing inconveniences to the local community, its very big problems without solution.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hapa ni  mfanya  kazi wa TALIA akitoa elimu ya mazigira kwa wafanya biashara wa Samaki  na wavuvi  kandokando ya  Bahari ya IDIAN OCEAN  Mtwara  Tanzania.

 

Eneo hili linauchafu  sana kutokana watu hao hawana elimu ya  mazingira, hivyo kupelekea kupata  magonjwa ya kipindupindu, wanatupa hvyo taka , mfano, kunya mavi pembezoni mwa bahari,kutupa taka gumu sehemu ya bahari

 

 

 

 

 

Ili ni eneo la shule ya Msingi RAHALEO Limezungukwa na  dapo la uchafu mgumu hivyo ni kwa sababu ya jamii kuto kua na Elimu sahihi ya Mazingira, hii ni hatari kwa  wanafuzi maana kuna harufu mbaya katika eneo hilo la shule na kusababisha  wanafunzi kuto soma vizuri.
