Tawawami is a Tanzanian nongovernmental organization registered, and started operating just after the legal accomplishment in 2009.

Objectives
|
- To promote education to the orphans and vulnerable youth in Tanzania.
- To sensitize communities at all levels on Children rights, vulnerable youth empowerment, women’s rights, social accountability (societies awareness on their rights and responsibilities).
- To protect and support orphans and vulnerable youth.
- To participate on the developing and improving of non-discriminatory access to quality pre- and primary education for all children.
- To mainstream HIV/AIDS, gender and environmental protection and good governance as cross cutting issues in all Tawawami program design and implementation.
- Networking and collaborating with other organizations with similar viewpoint as Tawawami.
