PLCC BACKGROUND.

Peace and Love Care Center (PLCC) is a local registered Community Based Organization (MG/MVDC/CBO/00087) found in Mvomero District in the Region of Morogoro, Tanzania.

PLCC was founded in the year 2008, by Fr. Lukas Mzuanda, the then Chaplain and Parish priest of Mzumbe University and Mzumbe Catholic Parish respectively together with the people of Mzumbe village who included Lucy B. Allay,Paul Simya, Hellena Mapunge and Lazaro Simya.

They came together with an idea of helping the children of Mzumbe, Vikenge, Mikongeni, Melela and Mgeta who come from very poor families.

This organization gets a lot of support from the students of Mzumbe University Catholic students Community who give part of what they have to the poor children of these villages. They contribute all what they can like clothes, scholastic material, food, and so on.
