RATIIS is a non-governmental not-for profit organization established in 1998 and registered in 1999 then complied with the Non Governmental Organizations Act of 2002 with certificate of compliance NO. 1533 issued in August 2005. It is a capacity building organization supporting people to undertake their development initiatives through working on enabling environment in facilitating access to relevant information in regard to development and advocacy with a view to improve basic services in the sectors of water supply and sanitation, Agriculture and food security, and Land and Environment protection.
