TABASAMU HABITAT PROGRAMME is an organization financed by a corporate body M/s FITZCONSULT FINANCE INC. The programme is involved in community development whose mission is to work with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation and seek justice and development, we work with needy communities irrespective of religion, race, tribe, and creed throughout Tanzania.

PURPOSE AND ACTIVITIES.

The project recognises women and children as the most vulnerable victims of conflict,disaster and underdevelopment. Essentially, we take a development approach to work among women and families, putting emphasis on projects designed with the community, owned and managed by the community and having specific development goals which benefit all the people in the community. This approach helps create an environment, which offers a better future for women and children.

Therefore, our primary focus is the community prioritising women and children. All our work is designed to bring hope and a future to the women and children of Tanzania.

Through an integrated community based development approach, we build community capacity to meet the needs of women and children especially in providing them access to soft loans for building low cost residential houses, access to clean healthy water, promoting the use of renewable energy and environmental protection advocacy.
