Lola Mona Children Centre (LOMOCCE) is the junior learning center for the orphans and children from vulnerable families of Arusha. Lola Mona is the traditional term meaning “Care the Child”. It was established in year 1998 by Pastor Zachariah Mushi and his wife Victoria Mushi who minister as evangelists to church known as Jesus Assembles Revival Ministries based in Arusha. Through their ministerial work, they found that children especially orphans and those from most vulnerable families miss opportunity to access Early Childhood Education (ECE) service due to poverty. On January 1998 Mrs Zachariah Mushi started to offer ECE service to orphans and vulnerable children at their living room. The service grew from there, number of children increased and reinforced them to rent a house where they can offer ECE services to great number of orphans and vulnerable children in the community. Currently LOMOCCE offers ECE services to total of 56 orphans and vulnerable children in two different centers in Arusha.
