What is MYDO

Mikunguni Youth Development Organization(MYDO) is a Social, Voluntary, Non Partisan and Independent Youth Organization which situeted two mile from Zanzibar Town in Zanzibar Islands.

MYDO established in 2002 and officially registered on 11th November,2003 under Zanzibar Society Act No.6 of 1995, with Registration No.270 of 2003.

• Organized and run seminars on HIV/AIDs and Drug abuse
• Conduct Civic and Voter education to Youth
• Organized Environmental Campaign every month at Kwahana Constituents and  Community mobilization.
• Participate on the formulation process of Zanzibar Youth Development Policy.
• Established Youth Employment Foundation
• Established MYDO youth Resource Centre
• Conduct Youth Bonanza to promote awareness Education on HIV/AIDS and Drug Abuse.
