Provision of school uniforms and materials to MVCs
176 (F 96 M 80) Orphans Vulnerable Children (OVCs) in 4 wards of Kiwanja cha Ndege,Tubuyu,Mwembesongo and Boma have been supported with school materials and uniforms in the year of 2010/2011. Children Monitoring Group (CMG) in collaboration with Mtaa/village and ward councils and school leaderships identified beneficiary children based on their situation. Upon verification of the list by HCT and education officers, MVCs were provided with uniforms, shoes, socks, textbooks, exercise books, pens and pencils through their respective primary schools. The provision of school uniforms and materials to MVCs reduced the burden on older people in taking care of orphaned and vulnerable children. Supported children did not miss classes as before and their performance in terms of average grade and position in class was far better after receiving support from the project. Their self-esteem also improved and they now participate in games and other social activities. |
Utoaji wa sare za shule na vifaa vya MVCs176 Yatima (F 96 M 80) Hatarini Watoto (OVCs) katika kata ya Kiwanja cha 4 Ndege, Tubuyu, Mwembesongo na Boma wamekuwa mkono na vifaa vya shule na sare katika mwaka wa 2010/2011. Watoto Ufuatiliaji Group (CMG) kwa kushirikiana na Mtaa / kijiji na kata na halmashauri za uongozi za shule watoto kutambuliwa walengwa kwa kuzingatia hali yao. Juu ya ukaguzi wa orodha na maafisa HCT na elimu, MVCs walipewa sare, viatu, soksi, vitabu, madaftari, kalamu na penseli kwa njia ya shule zao za msingi. utoaji wa sare za shule na vifaa vya MVCs kupunguzwa mzigo wazee katika utunzaji wa watoto yatima na wanaoishi katika mazingira magumu. Mkono watoto hakukosa madarasa kama kabla na utendaji wao katika suala la daraja la wastani na msimamo katika darasa ilikuwa bora baada ya kupokea msaada kutoka mradi. Yao ya kujithamini pia kuboreshwa na wao sasa kushiriki katika michezo na shughuli nyingine za kijamii. |
