Kutokana na hali hiyo,serikali,taasisi,mashirika na watu binafsi walijitoa kwa hali na mali kuhakikisha kuwa wahanga wa mafuriko wanasaidiwa,kwa kupatiwa malazi,mavazi na chakula.Maeneo yaliyoathirika zaidi kutokana na mafuriko hayo ni pamoja na kimara,mbezi,tabata,msewe na jangwani.

  Nyumba,miundo mbinu ya barabara na madaraja,viliharibiwa kabisa hali iliyopelekea kukatika kwa mawasiliano kati ya eneo moja na lingine. Kutokana na kuharibiwa kwa miundo mbinu hiyo,baadhi ya maeneo ya  kazi  yalikosa ufanisi,kutokana na ama wafanya kazi kuchelewa kufika kazini au kutofika kabisa.
