MARAFIKI WAJADILI NAMNA YA KUBORESHA MMES II- MOROGORO


Wawakilishi wa harakati za Marafiki wa Elimu kutoka kanda tatu za Mashariki, Kusini na Nyanda za juu Kusini; walikutana mjini Morogoro kwa ajili ya kujadili masuala mbalimbali yanayohusu mustakabali wa Elimu na namna nzuri ya kuboresha ushiriki wa wananchi katika utekelezaji wa mipango ya maendeleo ya Elimu.

Aidha washiriki hao waliipongeza Serikali kwa juhudi zake za kuboresha kiwango cha Elimu kupitia mipango yake ya maendeleo ya Elimu kama MMEM I&II, MMES I&II na Mafunzo ya Ualimu Kazini (TDMS).

Wanaharakati hao walitambua mafanikio ya mipango hiyo kuwa ni pamoja na kufanikiwa kujenga shule nyingi za msingi na sekondari, ongezeko kubwa la uandikishaji wa watoto katika shule zetu, ongezeko la juhudi za kupeleka pesa shuleni kwa lengo la kuboresha hali ya vifaa vya kufundishia na kujifunzia katika shule nyingi hapa nchini.               Moja ya Maktaba katika Shule ya Sekondari zilizoko Mkoani Dodoma.

Ushauri ulitolewa na wanaharakati hao kwa serikali kwamba; katika kutekeleza MMES II uliozinduliwa Januari 2011; ambao unalenga kuboresha kiwango cha elimu ya sekondari, uandikishaji wa wanafunzi, mfumo wa uongozi na mfumo wa ukaguzi; ni budi serikali iyafanyie kazi mapungufu yaliyojitokeza kwenye mipango iliyopita.

Marafki wa Elimu kwa kauli moja waliazimia kuishauri serikali kutekeleza mambo 6 ambayo wanaamini kuwa kama yatafanyiwa kazi ipasavyo; mafanikio chanya yatapatikana katika maendeleo ya elimu haa nchini. Maazimio hayo ni pamoja na:-

  • Serikali ihakikishe kuwa inapeleka fedha za ruzuku mashuleni kwa kiwango cha mpango kwa wakati.
  • Serikali ihakikishe kuwa wadau wote muhimu katika kutekeleza mpangio wanakuwa na uelewa wa kutosha kwa kuelimishwa kuhusu wajibu wao, haki zao na kushirikishwa kikamilifu katika kila hatua yautekelezaji.
  • Serikali ihakikishe kuwa inaimarisha ukaguzi wa ndani na wa nje katika shule na pia ukaguzi huo ufanyike mara kwa mara ili kudhibiti na kubaini ubadhirifu wa rasilimali za shule.

  • Serikali ihakikishe kuwa inaongeza idadi ya walimu mashuleni na kuwapatia walimu mafunzo kazini mara kwa mara na kuboresha mazingira ya walimu hasa wanaofanya kazi maeneo ya vijijini.

FRIENDS DISCUSS HOW TO IMPROVE SEDP II-MOROGORO
