MARAFIKI WAJADILI NAMNA YA KUBORESHA MMES II- MOROGOROWawakilishi wa harakati za Marafiki wa Elimu kutoka kanda tatu za Mashariki, Kusini na Nyanda za juu Kusini; walikutana mjini Morogoro kwa ajili ya kujadili masuala mbalimbali yanayohusu mustakabali wa Elimu na namna nzuri ya kuboresha ushiriki wa wananchi katika utekelezaji wa mipango ya maendeleo ya Elimu. Aidha washiriki hao waliipongeza Serikali kwa juhudi zake za kuboresha kiwango cha Elimu kupitia mipango yake ya maendeleo ya Elimu kama MMEM I&II, MMES I&II na Mafunzo ya Ualimu Kazini (TDMS). Wanaharakati hao walitambua mafanikio ya mipango hiyo kuwa ni pamoja na kufanikiwa kujenga shule nyingi za msingi na sekondari, ongezeko kubwa la uandikishaji wa watoto katika shule zetu, ongezeko la juhudi za kupeleka pesa shuleni kwa lengo la kuboresha hali ya vifaa vya kufundishia na kujifunzia katika shule nyingi hapa nchini. Ushauri ulitolewa na wanaharakati hao kwa serikali kwamba; katika kutekeleza MMES II uliozinduliwa Januari 2011; ambao unalenga kuboresha kiwango cha elimu ya sekondari, uandikishaji wa wanafunzi, mfumo wa uongozi na mfumo wa ukaguzi; ni budi serikali iyafanyie kazi mapungufu yaliyojitokeza kwenye mipango iliyopita. Walitaja mapungufu yaliyojitokeza katika mipango iliyopita kuwa ni pamoja na udahili wa wanafunzi shuleni ambapo wanafunzi wenye hata chini ya alama 150 walichaguliwa kujiunga na elimu ya sekondari, watendaji wa mipango hiyo hasa wakuu wa shule, bodi na kamati za shule kutokuwa na elimu ya kutosha kuhusiana na mipango na kwa kiasi kikubwa wananchi ambao ndio wadau wakuu hawakuelimishwa wala kushirikishwa kama mpango unavyoeleza. Marafki wa Elimu kwa kauli moja waliazimia kuishauri serikali kutekeleza mambo 6 ambayo wanaamini kuwa kama yatafanyiwa kazi ipasavyo; mafanikio chanya yatapatikana katika maendeleo ya elimu haa nchini. FRIENDS DISCUSS HOW TO IMPROVE SEDP II-MOROGORO Representatives of the movement of the Friends of Education from the three regions of East, South Highlands South, met in Morogoro to discuss various issues concerning the future of education and how best to improve citizen participation in the implementation of development plans for education. In addition participants were commended Government for its efforts to improve the level of education through its plans for the development of education as PEDP I & II, SEDP I & II and Teacher Training at Work (TDMS). The activists were aware of the success of such programs include successfully building many schools of primary and secondary schools, increasing enrollment of children in our schools, an effort to send money to school with the aim of improving the quality of teaching materials and learning in schools Many in the country. Advice was provided by the activists to the government that, in implementing the SEDP II was launched in January 2011, which aims to improve the level of secondary education, enrollment of students, system management and inspection system, it must state iyafanyie work limitations encountered in the plans changed.
