SHAKE HANDS YOUTH ORGANIZATION'S HEADQUARTERS' OFFICE.

 Shake  Hands  Youth  Organization,(S.H.Y.O) is  a  Non-Political, Non-Religious  and Non-Governmental  Organisation(N.G.O) which was made up with an activist, Honorable  Mwl. Murasi  Abraham Joseph of Dar es Salaam-Tanzania as the idea founder of one part and another part as one among the Governing Board members of the Organization.The establishment of this  Organization was in  June,2005  whereas the  Organization  begun to serve in the Community as the community  based organization(CBO) and  later on, was transformed into a complete Non-Governmental  Organization(N.G.O) and got full Official  registration  from  the  government.
The Founder of this Organization Network in collaboration with his team from the Governing Board Members of the Organization,came up with the idea of establishing this Organization after discovered that there are a number of people in the community need support or care as they suffer from poverty and diseases.From the founder's conducive idea,the Organisation was well formed and got an official registration from the Registrar of NGO's on 19th December,2007  with  the  Registation No. 00NGO/0345,under  the Ministry  of  Community Development,Gender and  Children.

AREA OF ACTION
The area of action is in the United Republic of Tanzania,especially Mainland Tanzania.

STATUS
This group is a Non- Political,Non-Religious and Non- Governmental Organization for the purpose of carrying out the aims and Objectives specified therein below;-

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES.

The objectives for which the group is established are;-

(i)To spearhead the war against HIV/AIDS pandemic killer disease.

(ii)To create voluntary programs that can support marginalized groups like Orphans,Disabled,Women and Elderly.

(iii)To coordinate development efforts for the purpose of poverty alleviation to Youth and Women

(iv)To coordinate resources and mobilizing efforts for spearheading development efforts of the Youth,Women,Orphans and Disabled.

(v)To help,Unite and Empower Youth in various issues related to Youth.

(vi)To build Youth Capacity inwhich they can participate in decision making.

(vii)To enhance Youth capacity inorder to use and explore their talents through Youth exchange programs,training and work camps so that to have a society where the Youth can play a greater role in development.

(viii)Working together through exchange programmes.

(ix)To cooperate with primary schools,secondary schools,colleges,Universities and Vocational training Schools in Tanzania for the aim of propagating knowledge to the marginalized groups.

(x)To promote moral support for Women and Youth.

(xi)To provide Youth and Women consultancy upon sexual transmitted diseases(S.T.D)

(xii)To establish information Centre based on Youth and Women matters.

(xiii)To conduct training,seminars and workshops concerning of Youth,Orphans and Women Matters.

(xiv)To establish Youth and Women Supportive Fund in various economic activities handled by them.

(xv)Conducting different research to Youth,Women and Orphans based on their development.

(xvi)To link with other International Organisations in development of youth and women.
(xvii)To promote Youth solidarity in our country.

(xviii)To have regular visits to Orphans and Widows' residence as consolation way and giving them any urgent assistance as may be required.

(xix)To encourage and conscietize Youth and Women on issues concern of family planning or family spacing regarding ages.

(xx)To monitor and advice groups on day to day operations ready for profitability and self-reliance.

(xxi)To spearhead the war against drug abuse or substance abuse.

(xxii)To spearhead the war against child labour/child employment.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGES.
The Official Languages of this Organisation are English and Kiswahili.

We will create environments and mechanisms in which  we value learning and sharing of lessons learnt with whom we serve.
