Mkuu wa chuo cha Mipango Dodoma-Constantine Lifurilo amezungumza na wanachuo wapya wapatao 2400 akielezea matarajio makubwa katika kusambaa kwa taaluma ya mipango katika ngazi mbalimbali za jamii.
Akizungumza kwenye baraza hilo katika Ukumbi wa Mwalimu Nyerere, amesema kada ya mipango itaendelea kulaumiwa ikiwa watalaamu wake watashindwa kukidhi matarajio ya wananchi kwakuwa nafasi zao zinaweza kupoteza mwelekeo wa jamii ikiwa watatumia vibaya nafasi hizo kwakuwa program zote za maendeleo duniani kote zinahusisha watalaamu wa maendeleo katika kuandaa misingi ya kupanga,kuweka mwelekeo na hatimaye katika kutekeleza.
Kwa upande wake Mkurugenzi msaidizi wa Chuo anayeshughulikia -Mafunzo Profesa Innocent Zilihona amesema, chuo hakitawavumilia watu watakaobadili chuo hicho kuwa chuo cha sanaa, kutokana na kuvaa mavazi yasiyo na staha kwani kufanya hivyo kutakuwa ni kudhalilisha fani ya mipango ambayo kwa sehemu kubwa chuo hicho ndicho kilichopewa jukumu na taifa kuandaa wataalamu na viongozi wa baadaye.
Amesema ni vyema wanachuo wakatambua kuwa chuo hicho kina "core values" zake ambazo zimewekwa kutokana na dhima ambayo serikali imekipa chuo hicho kuandaa viongozi, hivyo kuruhusu watu kuachia miili yao nje ni kupoteza misingi ambayo imekijenga na kukikuza chuo hadi kufikia hatua ya kupokea wanachuo 2400 na kwamba ili kuona kuwa misingi haipotoshwi, kitahakikisha wasiyofuata maadili wanarejea kwao.
Naye Mkurugenzi Msaidizi katika eneo la Utawala na Fedha Tibelio Mdendemi amesema, ni vyema fulsa ya mafunzo ya vitendo na nadharia inayotolewa na chuo ikatumiwa vyema na wanachuo katika kujiandaa kutumikia taifa kwani, ni aibu kwa wao kushindwa kutekeleza majukumu yao wawapo kazini wakati chuo kimewezesha maandalizi yao kwa kiwango cha juu.
Ametaja kuwa miongoni mwa changamoto za sasa kwa vyuo vingi nchini ni kutoa wahitimu ambao tabia zao, mwenendo na madaraka wanayoenda kushika havifanana hali ambayo amesema, kwa chuo cha mipango kitahakikisha kinalisimamia suala hilo na kuhakikisha kinatoa wataalamu bora na wenye nidhamu na kuthamini majukumu wanayoyatumikia.
