SUBEJECT; GRANT APPLICATION FROM LESS MILL FUND FORCHILDREN 16,940,000/= (USA $ 10,266.66) The above subject refers, THE HOPE RELIEF AND ORPHANS VILLAGE CHILDREN (HROVC) is applying the above mentioned amount for supporting HIV/AIDs orphans and most vulnerable children to buy Uniform at primary and secondary schools, school fees and cost of community health insurance total 214 the number of pupils who will be supported. We hope that, our application will be considered, NAME; THE HOPE RELIEF AND ORPHANS VILLAGE CHLDREN MISSION: Organisation is committed to bring behavior change and build responsible where the orphans and most vulnerable children’s. VISSION: To become a strong, vibrant and coordinated Organization working in partnership to empower orphans and most vulnerable children s GEOGRAPHICAL FOCUS; Magu District,Tanzania. BACKGROUND INFORMATION; The Hope Relief and Orphans Village Children is a Community Based Organization (CBO) committed to serve orphans and most vulnerable children by supporting them with food, Health and school material to provide education and technical skills. The Hope Relief and Orphans Village Children is a community based organization, non political part and nonprofit making organization. This organization established in 2012 for registration MDC/CBO/NO 629 The head office of organization at Lugeye village,ward kitongosima,Magu Disrict in Mwanza Regional. .THE HOPE RELIEF AND ORPHAS VILLAGE CHILDREN: works with local structures, FBOs, CBOs, village governments, most vulnerable and orphans committees and local governments Authorities to focus attention on these orphans concerns. ORPHANS AND MOST VULNARABLE CHILDREN. Aim to ensure that vulnerable children have food and nutrition, shelter, family-based care and support, social protection and security, primary healthcare, education and vocation training and house economic strengthening
STATEMENT OF PROBLEM. Magu District Council has 4036 orphans and most vulnerable children according national statistic 2012.But five village(Kitongo,Lugeye,Kigangama,Bugando and Kahangala) along Lake Victoria ,214 are Orphans and most vulnerable Children.Becouse most of parent die with HIV/AIDs and other parent facing with extreme poverty so children lived in difficult situation they need support of school material, fees and Community health card in order to ensure these children’s to attend school and to get health services for all year. BENEFICIARIES OF PROJECT. The beneficiaries of the project are 214 children living from five villages at Magu District by supporting them school material, school fees and health services. CURRENT ACTIVITIES In order to achieve the vision of the organization has the following components that do work in collaboration to make sure that the planned activities are always archived .
3. Sensitizing communities on entrepreneurship through knowledge and skills. 4. To educate communities on Gender issue. 5. To support to HIV/AIDS victims (orphans, vulnerable children due to HIV/AIDS and windows.
. 6. Empowerment women of Reproductive Age and Adolescent Girls.
ORGANIZATION CAPACITIES: At the moment THE HOPE RELIEF AND ORPHANS VILLAGE CHILDREN. Has 4 staff with education level ranging from the Certificate of Secondary Education, Diplomas and Degrees in which 2 are women and 2 are men who are working in the office and in the field, the head of the organization is the General secretary who is in charge of day to day activities and is followed by the Administration officer who takes care of staff welfares and Disciplinary actions. The organization has office space, Bank account, and man Power and communication facilities including computer connected to the international net work. REQUEST OF FUND OF TSHs 16, 940, 000/= (USA $ 10,266.66) The Hope Relief and Orphans Village Children: is applying the above amount in order to make support to HIV/AIDs orphans, vulnerable children due to HIV/AIDs the support /money will be utilized by purchasing uniform for orphans, payment school fees and community health fund which will enable them orphan’s children to attend to schools and Health services. SUSTAINABLE OF THIS PROJECT. In future, the organization would like to build capacity to guardians or parents by providing small loans for generation income supports them to ensure that all pupils will be supported by their guardians, buying uniforms and other Leaning materials.
