In this establishement stage, we did election of youth parliament in 3 districts, named Muheza, Mkinga nad Pangani, where total of 134 members of the youth parliament 67 male and 67 female elected from 67 wards. in every ward there is now election of youth committees which facilitating by elected members of youth parliament, every committee shall have 10 members to make total of 1340 youth who are involved in youth forums in their localities

Election of youth parliament in districts of Mkinga, Muheza and Pangani

C. Mafanikio kwa Kipindi hiki cha Utekelezaji

1. 26 members of youth parliament elected in Pangani District (18 female and 18 male) election commenced from 5th to 23rd January 2011
2. 42 members of youth parliament elected in Mkinga district (21 male and 21 female) election commenced from 6th to 27th January 2011
3. 66 members of youth parliament elected in Muheza District (33 male and 33 female) election commenced from 10th January to 12th February

The activies supposed to be conducted from October to Decembers 2010 instead of January to March 2011, the reason was delay of fund from Foundation for Civil Society

All 134 elected members of youth parliament are members of ward development committees in their repective wards. Its early to see the big change now as the election was just completed in this February 2011.

Maelezo
Increasing of seriousness of the young people in election of youth parliament, example in one ward in Mkinga District youth were collected by using 5 trucks (FUSO) to come to the election
Serious competition among youth groups, which every one try had to make sure that their contesters are win
Participation of councilors in election of Youth parliament in their wards,
Fear of government when youth create their own free forum, example Mkinga District Commissioner questions why we are establish youth forum, we realise that district interagency making closer follow up of youth parliament
Changes is possible when you follow the right channels, during and after election we received many calling from well wishes in those districts where election took place to congratulate us, all said we are to gether with Bunge to make change, two villages where they did not conduct village meetings for three year, they agreed to conduct meeting when leaders enfluenced by Member of youth parliament in Kipubwi ward and Kwalugulu

Mkinga District commision tried to stop election, because he said he do not know this programme	We used the Mking DED office for make schedual together and they are one who send letters to ward exacutive officers to inform and gether youth for Election, application forms obtained from Ward offfices. Aither we infor him that the former DC Commisioner was the one who opened officially the programme in Mkinga District
3 wards refused result, becouse their contestant were not elected and beliaved that they won elections	Election was conducted again in other day under supervission of District cultural officer in Pangan and Development Youth Officer in Mkinga, and the result became the same
High openly competition of political parties this time to compare to privious elections	We emphasized that TAYODEA is not belong to any political part thus this proggamme is for all youth of the Tanga region therefore we do not fervor any political part
The officers in District Cousils claimed to be paid, and they wanted to be in every ward to see how election going	We used our lobbing skills to let them know that we are helping to do what they suppose to do, yet we did not claim to be paid by them, so let us work together for benefit of us all
