Governance and Accountability
A s this project is about Social Accountability Monitoring(SAM)-The aim is to improve good governance in healthcare in SAME and MWANGA districts respectively ;through Resource management,PETS,Ethics,corruption control in health,ETC-and this addresses the key foundation result area

Increased transparency and efficiency in utilization of funds allocated for healthcare development by 2012
The project have just started,it is three months now since starting,leaflets and t-shirts carrying messages of Social Accountability Monitoring have been distributed

Social Accountability Monitoring(SAM) is a new experience to the community -much efforts are needed in order to gets impacts |
We observed that government leaders must be involved in all five stages in SAM |
Health committees and ward health boards are not well formed in Same and Mwanga Districts |
There is poor commitments from political leaders on prioritizing health sector in Same an Mwanga districts |
