THE FOLLOWING ARE THE MRSF OBJECTIVES PLANNED TO BRING SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TANZANIA;
1. To motivate students in secondary in order to take science subjects which are the cornerstone of science and technology
2. To prepare people who will work in fast growing science based sectors example mining, industries, agriculture, fisheries and tourism.
3. To comply with nation policy of enhancement of science and technology in Tanzania.
4. To prepare the people of science based professionals for future generation, examples medical doctors, pharmacists, physicists and Engineers.
5. To create favorable learning science subjects environment for disabled students.
6. To establish, maintain, repair, improve, beautify, and renovate education centers for the benefit of the public by co-coordinating donors and sponsors who will provide funding, equipment and materials and promote the establishment of education corridors and education parks across the country.
7. To facilitate scientist in science development activities as well as their legal standing.
8. To promote employment scientist and Tanzanians as a whole by training and equipping them with different business and entrepreneurship skills that make them job creators and strong economically.
9. To promote the utilization of talents, skills and experience of retired officers and older people and promote and facilitate science development activities.
10. To alleviate the life of poor communities by working with them in established family and community development projects and educating them in various development aspects.
11. To promote primary health care and educating advice, counsel and guide people on medical and health matters.
12. To promote and facilitate awareness in environmental matters.
13. To promote the use and simulation of information and communication technology.
14. To establish and advance people by organizing and co-coordinating funds, equipment, instruments, furniture, materials, in country and overseas training, scholarships from various organizations, governments, individuals and other bodies.
15. To support scientific research conducted by members.
