About the program:
Huruma Center for Development is among the program established under Human Rural and Urban Multisectoral Advancement(HURUMA).
Course title: Short distance training in Project management.
The program intends to provide skills on development and generally project management for actors and stakeholders from the Civil society, private sector as well as Public sector.
At the end, after completion learners will have improved their competences in various fields of development managerial skills hence improved performance and advocacy to their areas of social work.
This is anticipated to be a short course ranging from 1-3 months and sometimes pending on the speed and efforts of the learner.
1.0 Mode of training:
The training will be conducted through electronic method, where learners will receive lessons on series of modules and topics. Notes for learning will be in the form of pdf document sent electronically through E-mails.
Upon completion of the modules learners will be given test which shall be marked and sent back to the learners.
Learners shall have chance to ask questions and get answers electronically.
Training will be very simplified in simple language and shall be conducted in English.
2.0 Admission policy:
The applicant will fill the application form and send it back where it will be processed and a grant to training authorized.The application form will accompany payment of US $ 10 payable to the Account of the organization which shall be provided once the application is received. For Citizens of United Republic of Tanzania will have alternatives of paying through M-Pesa of Vodacom in equivalent amount.
Course payment shall be US $ 80 (Citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania will make payment in equivalent amount). In this training the Organisation contributes 60% of the cost and the learner pays only 30% which is only US $ 80.
Upon completion of the course learners will get their certificates sent as pdf in their E-mail accounts.
