HAYOSAP is the Non Governmental Organization (DPO) the Non for Profit-making one formed in the year 2000 and attained its Registration in 2002 under Societies Ordinance Cap. 54 Under Reg. No. 10999. The long form of HAYOSAP is "The Handicapped and Youth's Struggle Against Poverty in Tanzania".

HAYOSAP was formed by the Handicapped people together with the Non-Handicapped with the intention to support the poverty alleviation initiatives of the People with Disabilities of all the Categories of DISABILITIES in the Mainland Tanzania. But it is here to collaborate with other organizations with similar interest both within the Country and abroad.

MISSION:
HAYOSAP being the Government's Key Stakeholder, is basically struggling to see that EQUALITY in both the Social as well as Economic general aspects IS EQUALLY ENSURED by the GOVERNMENT to the VULNERABLE group of the people with disabilities hence improve their life-standards retaining their reputation and DIGNITY, doing away with BEGGING AND DEPENDENCE.
