OBJECTIVE=1.

Improve healthy lives and promote well-being for all , end the epidemics of AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria and neglected tropical diseases and combat hepatitis, water-borne diseases, other communicable diseases and maternal and child mortality.

What we do for objective no 1. 

We implementing various public campaign that enhancing social behavior changes to combat health sectors challenges.

District Health commitee, Ward and village leaders are organization stakeholder that help organization to reach community. Picture show stakeholders at the meetings

FODEO campaign targeting to reach community through Community changes agency (CCA) these are people trained on how to reach community, they using education given to train community through villages meetings, social group and secondary school visiting. Achievements

FODEO trained each villages 2 counterpart with total number118 and 15 CCAs. CCAs are wards group leaders. Those people are community key changes of social behaviors changes to combat health sectors challenges.

Objective =2.

Eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls in the public and private spheres, including ending teenage pregnancy and forcing marriage.

What we do for objective no 2.

We Create mixing group of women and men and strengthen them in demanding social accountability in ending unacceptable tradition norms that oppressive women and girls.

We Link various religious and tradition leaders to encourage them to be key of changes that going to strengthen their members to end violence against women and girls.

We Create and improve village’s gender desk implementation that works closer with police gender desk in defending challenges facing women and child girls.

We create groups among girls affected by early pregnancy and forced marriage, encourage them to be key of changes that participating in support peer groups in opposing violence, early pregnancies and marriages among of them.

Achievements

13 groups have been developed in 13 wards in Busega District and various procedures are underway to get funds for capacity building to begin carrying out their duties.

Promote public awareness in participating in demanding transparency and accountability in rural areas development implementation.

 

What we do for objective no 3

1 .  Public campaign to encourages movement to attending villages meetings and participates in rural development project planning and implementation.

2.  Empowering communities in participate to make follow up of income and expenditure reports of health, water and education sectors from the district council to the village level.

Achievements.

· 1475 peoples as villages leaders trained how to read their villages.

· 26 people trained how advocacy others of importance of participate in the village meetings
