We are still in initial progress, by using our own members' resources ( human, time and money) to social challenges in Mtwara Municipal and Rural to make our NGO step ahead. We still invite volunteers who can support us in fulfilling our goals in and out of Mtwara region in general.

Community Basic Education for Development (COBED) NGO members have made a research in forests products utility in two wards in Mtwara District Council, it was conducted in October, 2012. The selected words included Nanguruwe and Naumbu. The findings revealed high rate of afforestation which lead to environmental degradation all over the surveyed areas. The problems were associated with lack of environmental education, lack of economic opportunities and lack of education on the use of improved local stoves for the minimization of fuel energy. We are looking for donors to support the provision of education to Mtwara District Council community members and Mtwara region in general, but up to the moment we have got no any financial support.
