Historical back ground
Created in 1985, the Association obtained his personality lawful by the Stopped Ministerial N°898/5 of the 08/07/1985. Today, the association celebrates its 23 years of existence. She was created in a period where the schools of the State could not reply anymore to the continually growing request of the children in education age. The context was all the more difficult since the means of the parents were insufficient and the opening of a school seemed an adventure. Later, to the day following the war and genocide, the body of the informers on the education presented a layered more position: the access and the quality remained limited to all the levels and in all the sectors.
Membership
THE association is composed of four categories of members: The members promoters, creators of the Association; The founding, constituent members of the Association; The adhesive members, accepted by the general assembly; The honorary members, those that bring a moral support and equipment to the association.
Organs
As all legally founded association, the APAPER has access to the statutory organs composites as follows: - THE general assembly that some is the supreme organ; - The Guiding committee; - The high school of the commissioners
Objectives In its creation the Association set up itself the following objectives:
- Promote the intellectual education, moral and physical of the child; lean itself of a more special manner on the research of the solutions practice to the problems of any kind relating to the school education of the children
- look for means to realize activities relating themselves directly or indirectly to his object while creating notably private schools in accordance with the legislation on the National Education of the Republic Rwanda
- lend his competition to the public or private organisms following a similar goal, as her can assure herself Of their competition.
Realizations and performances
As early as his creation the Association APAPER opened a Primary School and a Maternal one in the cell RUKIRI I of the Sector REMERA. This school shelters more than 800 students. Performances are interesting strong: In 2007 the school classified itself 4th in the whole country, with a rate of success of 100%.
