UWAMKI is a non-profit, non-political, voluntary, non-government organization that focuses on working to develop and empower families and individuals at the grass roots community level. We aim to improve health and socio-economic conditions to help overcome social problems through various support programs offered by UWAMKI.

UWAMKI's office is based at KIJITONYAMA MPAKANI-B in the City of Dar es Salaam with branches throughout the Tanzanian mainland.

Target Groups:

The UWAMKI`s target group is "all family members", especially;

• Children (Orphans, Dissabled and Vulnerable Children).
• Youths (both males and females)
• Disabled people.
• People Affected By HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria.
• Women (Widows).
• Commercial Sex Workers.
• Homosexuals (Males/females with tendence to sex with the same sexes).
• Drug Users (i.e. Intravenous Drug Users =>IDUs).
