The Organization is registered In Bukoba Municipal as the Community Based Organizations under Act No. 24 of 2002 as a voluntary, non-profit-sharing. Its registration number is BMC/KCJ/12/869.The Headquarters of the Organization is in NYAKANYASI in Bukoba Municipal. The area of operation is Bukoba Municipal.

The vision Statement

The organization envisions a society in which all persons are fully empowered function to the maximum of human potentials in development.

The Mission Statement

The mission of the organization is to facilitate empowerment of the community in Bukoba Municipal specifically with a view of improving their standards of living by doing the following:

(a)    Creating a sound and sustainable resource mobilization from within and outside the organization;

(b)   Building links with national, regional and international organizations that are involved in supporting projects related to community development;

(c)    Lobbying of the review of unfavorable policies that related to community support for development;

(d)   Actively promoting women community development programs, publicizing the work of the organization, organizing campaigns through press releases, and taking the other steps to promote public awareness of the organization, its objectives and activities;

The Values

The association believes in the following: human dignity, accountability, good governance, education, health, dignified housing, sanitation, habitable natural environment, economic growth, social cohesion, creativity, innovation, truth, integrity, and democracy.

Objectives

Within the framework of the constitution, the objectives of the Organization are:

(a)    To advocate for human rights and good governance.

(b)   To participate in the Municipal response to climate change , green revolution, hunger and food security;

(c)    To strengthen and participate effectively in advocacy, formulation and implementation of various projects in Bukobal Municipal;

(d)   To assist, promote and encourage the marginalized groups to participate in joint initiatives aimed at solving their problems and promoting their quality of life;

(e)   To promote self-reliance amongst the youth by   creating employment generating activities;

(f)     To fundraise for the purpose of supporting women, widows, the elderly, people living with disabilities and other marginalized groups in the sectors of habitat, education, health, water and energy;

(g)    To educate the general public on crime prevention, counseling and support;

(h)   To engage and support civic education, democracy and community participation;

(i)      To fundraise for the purpose of establishing projects relating to HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support;

(j)     Cooperate with other NGO’s CBO’s FBO’s LGA’s cooperative societies, commercial enterprises, social enterprises, and other CSO’s which are sympathetic with the objects of the Organization.
