RUAHA MARATHON.

Each year the third week of May Ruaha Marathon event takes place in Iringa (Southern Highlands of Tanzania ) and attracts thousands Runners and observers from different nationalities to come and participate in this historical event, The race categories of the event are  Cross country 42Km(Full Marathon), 21Km(Half Marathon), 6Km Fun Run for Families and unprofessional runners and 3K for under sixteen years, and also will have 21Km and for Disables (Amputee) and 3k for (Cycles) Disables.

RUAHA MARATHON grand finale will be accompanied by entertainments from famous Tanzania Bongo Fleva Artists, traditional dancing, Tanzanian Live Bands and buying and selling of different tourist local cultural goods.There is NO ENTRANCE FEES to all spectators who will be coming to watch the event at the stadium.
