KEY ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT BY IZAAS

  • Provision of prosthetic limbs, support and follow up.
  • Care and support to HIV/AIDS clients.
  • Nutritional support to HIV/AIDS patients, orphans and vulnerable children.
  • Medical assistance and support to terminally ill patients and the community.
  • Provision of school fees and educational support.
  • Micro-enterprise and skills development aimed at teaching people to earn a living through small scale projects such as fish farming, poultry, tailoring, weaving loom ,dye and batik, bicycle repair, etc.
  • OVCs support and child development.
  • Advocacy initiatives and support for the albino communities within Kagera region.
  • Spiritual support and social counseling to the streets children, orphans and vulnerable children.
  • Free medical services to orphans, HIV/AIDS, disabled, elders and needy children every day.
  • Physiotherapy services for the disabled and other patients carried out every Tuesday.
  • Free ear services for the orphans and vulnerable children every Wednesday and Saturday.
  • Nyaz offered to children every Friday at one o’clock.
  • Religious, English and counseling for children carried out every day from 4 pm at Madarasa class.
  • Support, medical and social counseling to patients at Umme Kulsum transit center.
