IDAHINA STUDENTS ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB

The secondary management team aims to seek support and work with any NGO, individual people and other stake holders contribute their valuable idea and fund to create learning environment through provision of food for Girls Hostel. Despite the overall drop is high at school, for girls are alarming. This is the newly conceived an initiative expected to play a pivotal role (based on 5 years plan) on food provision. In addition, availability of food at school will encourage student’s attendance hence, concentration on lessons and school life career development. Food security and nutrition at school may change parent’s mindset towards educating their children.

The school seeks to bring about empirical and long term community empowerment and holistic development amongst the Idahina people in the areas of agriculture, education and environmental conservation, which offer the possibility of an assured livelihood in this part of the district. It also aims at improving the quality of life of Idahina people living in difficult circumstances by involving parents in all stages of the project; from being beneficiaries and in the long run becoming the total participants of the entire school development process.
